Our Mission
Our mission is to teach America’s future civic leaders theimportance of philosophical understanding, specifically the Federalist thinking of America’s founders, that is essential to the formation of true leadership |
 |
Long-Term Goal
Federalist ideals of freedom, diversity and individual responsibility reclaim the dialogue over social life and once again become the inspiration for America’s leaders, as viable and central to the United States as they were at the nation’s birth, illustrated best by its greatest founding writing, The Federalist Papers
Mission Objectives
- Create a self-supporting Center at Bellevue University to teach Federalist ideals of freedom, diversity and individual responsibility to potential civic leaders in a philosophical framework that broadens a professional orientation into a philosophical one that is the basis for true leadership
-
Elaborate and elucidate the principles of Bellevue University’s established Signature Series supporting Western vision and American values through a mix of on-site and on-line teaching of potential leaders
- Provide a means for hundreds of young potential civic leaders per year to master a Federalist philosophy that they can apply to political and social issues throughout their lifetimes, creating a cadre that promotes American values and institutions for decades to come
- Institute a publications center featuring the Center participants in a monthly on line magazine, other separate publications and social gatherings that communicate the mission to a large and diverse audience
- Operate an interactive web site that features the publications and activities of the Center and acts as the repository of its activities
